I believe that healing ourselves in a gentle, natural, holistic manner is good for the individual, good for the community, and good for our planet. I believe that this is the way Mother Nature intended us to heal.
I love being a homeopath!
This gentle, effective approach to healing and wellness quite simply makes people feel better – physically and emotionally!
I first experienced the magic of homeopathy in the 20th week of my 3rd pregnancy when a complication landed me on permanent bed-rest – a considerable challenge given that I had two toddlers at home. I swallowed my daughter-of-a-doctor skepticism and went to see a homeopath and the “incurable” was cured — I remained active and healthy throughout the remainder of my pregnancy. And the rest, was destiny….
Throughout this now ten-plus-year journey of healing others, I have learned that most health problems can be cured without drugs, but that sometimes people need more than homeopathy for a complete cure, so I’ve become a “not-entirely-classical” homeopath.
My process of connecting with clients is one of listening, nurturing, caring – essential aspects of my style of homeopathic care. Often people tell me they feel better before they’ve even taken a remedy. The process of fully expressing concerns, being listened to without feeling hurried, and seeing the patterns I observe in their health story is often the first step to healing for many of my clients.
I frequently work with families and love seeing the healing impact of treating all members of a family. This has been especially rewarding with ADHD families – an area of special interest and experience for me. Cancer is another area of interest; in this, as in other pathology, I embrace an integrative approach to health. My vision is one of a community of health providers working together to provide a caring and inspiring pathway towards wellness.
Homeopathy is one of the ingredients in the recipe of my life; the others — cooking, gardening, reading, dancing, practicing yoga, traveling, walking in the woods. These all help me see the beauty in this world and remind me that a joyful life of health and wellness is the greatest gift of all.
