As the mother of 3 very active kids I spent a great deal of time going back and forth to my pediatrician’s office or unfortunately to Sick Kids Emergency.  Two of my children have asthma and eczema, both severely, and all three have Celiac disease.  The need for constant medical attention was dictating our lives.  I felt the need to try and find a solution to our problems instead of managing them.  That’s when I contacted Beth.  I remained quite skeptical for a while, but she immediately knew what I was talking about. I have two sons, both of whom have received enormous relief from homeopathic remedies.  But I have to say that Beth Landau-Halpern is the best diagnostician I have had the pleasure of working with — she has an uncanny skill of finding the right remedy for the problem. 

Just as an example for those who have never seen the magic of homeopathy, my son had a terrible earache.  He was in agony.  He couldn’t stay still, he was crying and rocking back and forth.  We called Beth, she diagnosed him over the telephone and I went down to collect the remedies.  My son was beside himself by the time I returned and I wondered if I should take him to emergency. I gave him the remedy according to Beth’s instructions and decided to give them a short time to work before I put him in the car. He continued to cry for a few minutes.  Within ten minutes he was asleep.  When he awoke about 30 minutes later he came downstairs with me to eat something.  The pain never returned. Two days later he told Beth that his ear felt a bit blocked, she gave him something else and the problem disappeared as if by magic.

And if that isn’t good enough, her treatment of my dog stopped severe diarrhea and vomiting within 30 minutes, which is particularly fantastic when you actually have to clean up after the beast!

My son looks forward to seeing Beth.  He really likes her toys…. and getting ‘melodies’.  He says they make him feel ‘right’.  My son is now 7; he started seeing Beth when he was 2.  When he doesn’t feel well now he will ask where his ‘melody’ is.  I think he has the right name for homeopathic remedies!  Homeopathic practitioners spend however long they need to get a full and complete history of their client/patient.  This history is not limited to symptoms; it considers the emotional, the physical, and the whole.  That makes sense to me
Over the last 5 years Beth has supported my family through both emotional and physical crises. Even my husband ‘converted’. I have many examples of how Beth has helped…I have chosen to share this one: my son suffered severe febrile seizures from the age of 2.  It was a dreadfully frightening time.  Thankfully, with Beth’s help and support she not only identified a remedy to bring down his fever and prevent the seizures, but she managed to find remedies that addressed the reason his body couldn’t regulate his temperature.  He is now seizure free.  You can only imagine what a relief that is.
